I've been slacking off so far this year... but I managed to get something out for the massive Last Man Standing thunderdome at conceptart.org. Kind of a rush job... and looking at all the amazing entries people came out with, I'm feeling pretty motivated to start busting my ass again. The level gap between me and the pros is glaring me in the face, so I can't wait to start improving myself. Wasted half a year, and life is too short for that.Go check out the last man standing threads in the finally finished forums on conceptart.org. Some high quality stuff.

This is wonderful, this would be reality if a fallout would happen. The first what people would do if they see their Armageddon coming is to take they photo-mobiles and make pictures.
perfectly satiric! a repetition of contemporary human behaviour.
but most of all is the visual aspect of this work interesting. first attention are on the colour part where the shit is happening. the background is well structured in a impressionistic way, where the person is clear selected in a natural composition. very unique is the part below in a reduced style which not take attention from the main colour part, so that a storyline is possible.
