A 12 part commentated video tutorial series that covers the digital painting of facial skin tones, with various techniques and tips. This is the completed face sheet. It's not very good from a compositional standpoint because of the faces was approached as a unique object. I hope people find this all helpful.The series:

i love the girl in the bottom left corner... the one with her mouth opened. i mean the lighting on her looks amazing, and i really like her expression for some reason, even though she looks like shes extremely close to throwing up xDD

Thanks for a really in depth look into colouring. I'm still too terrified to try colours, the entire warm/cool colours and whatnot are not really my comfort zone. Only checked out video one yet, but do you have one where you show how to paint over a b&w with colours?
Also, in video one when you're talking to yourself some bits I totally got that Bob Ross feeling ^^.
