Description
This picture was originally just going to be a picture of battle-worn and battered Shining Armour in his more practical Captain of the Royal guard uniform of my own design. But suddenly a wild Twilight Sparkle Unicorn appeared and did battle with our valiant royal guard.I guess if I were to come up with a story for this, Twilight had been corrupted and one of the ponies she saught out on her path of vengeance happened to be her brother, who is refraining from attacking her. But even as powerful an Aegist-based unicorn such as he cannot hold back against the element of Magic herself, right?
Not much story behind this. There was originally going to be a background to this set place in a battle scene but after I got lazy and began repeating the same two ponies to make up a huge army, I felt far less satisfied in it considering the effort put into these two, so have them on their lonesom (in 1080p no less! There's a first, a proper 16:9 resolution picture)

*Shining Armor and Eclipse (what I call evil Twilight) have ended up near some molten ground and are using their magic to hover on rocks to avoid being burned*

*Eclipse tries it and Shining slices her legs out from under her, as well as taking part of her horn. She fall to the ground and writhes in pain.*

<(I HATE YOU!) *she catches fire, however it is from her own flame/Rapidash power consuming her as she loses control of her magic due to her damaged horn and raging anger*
*Shining turns away as his sister burns. He picks up the Element of Magic tiara and walks away, leaving her to die*

Princess Cadence: I don't know you anymore! Twilight...you're breaking my heart! You're going down a path that I cannot follow!
Twilight Sparkle: Because of Shining Armor?
Cadence: (crying) Because of what you've done! What you plan to do! Stop! Stop now...come back! I love you!
(Shining Armor walks towards them)
Twilight: (staring at her brother) Liar!
Cadence: (shocked to see her husband) No!
Twilight: You're with him! You brought him here to kill me! (Lift Cadence into the air with her magic)
Shining Armor: Let her go, Twilight!
Cadence: Twi...light.....
Shining Armor: Let.....her....go!
(Twilight knocks Cadence unconscious and drops her foalsitter to the floor)
Twilight: You've turned my foalsitter against me!
Shining Armor: You have done that yourself!
(Both of them walk around each other)
Twilight: You'll not take her from me!

This is starting to get interesting. Now I'm continuing.
Shining Armor: Your anger and your lust for magic have already done that. You have allowed this dark king to twist your mind, until now...until now you have become the very thing you swore to destroy.
Twilight: Don't lecture me, big brother! I see through the lies of the Princesses! I do not fear dark magic as you do! I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Crystal Empire!
Shining Armor: Your new empire?
Twilight: Don't make me kill you!
Shining Armor: Twily, my allegiance is to the Equestrian Republic! To Harmony!
Twilight: If you're not with me, then you're my enemy!
Shining Armor: Only King Sombra and his minions deals in absolutes. I will do what I must.
Twilight: You will try.
(Cue duel as pictured above)

Have you thought of contacting the ppl who are making the game "Shattered Kingdom?" Just slap some wings on Twi and maybe the Element of Harmony, and this would probably fit in their game as circumstances has forced bro and sis into joining two different factions.

If this was a fanfic: The entire series would be about twilight destroying things and all of this stuff making her look evil and everything. Β However shining and the rest of the elements are able to thwart her plans.
However, right at the very end shining gets caught by twilight, but instead of getting killed, twilight takes him to a cave and casts a spell on him. Β Suddenly, shining perspective and memory changes and he sees that twilight has been the only one who has not succumbed to a mass hallucination spell
Or did he just fall under one? Β DUN DUN DUN!
