Description wanted to try something new - smoked glass and relief [king gold], no paint this time
I am quite happy with the results and so I am thinking if I should do some more this way

I just the love the way it looks, I think the metallic look really sets it off, plus the variety of sea creatures makes for a beautiful view

Wow, this is not only gorgeous, but I feel like I'm looking at an acrobatic performance on the high wire -- It must insanely nerve-wracking to work with that gold and not worry about messing up a line or a shape somewhere in the process.Β  A tour-de-force in more ways than one! Β

Ah, but it is actually calming. I find it very relaxing Β I do have the design underneath the glass though, so I am not worried about mistakes that much.Β
If worse come to worst, I can always scrape the outliner off the glass (happened few timesπŸ˜…)

the good thing is that the liner I work with is in a tube that makes the application easy.

Please do it more often because the result looks great! This type of glass enhanced the best of the gold paint, it almost feel like you sewed the golden lines into the glass. My favorite part of the painting is the turtle, here it is kind of a national symbol, we even print it in our money. I look forward for your new works dear, I am curious to see what you'll do next .

I do like the turtle as well - although my favourite are jelly fish and some bushes
I am planning to make a little series of this - I hace an idea for at least 2/3 more
but not telling what will be there

thank you. Well, he process is the same I use for my glass paintings, only this time I stopped before painting it with actual paints, just used the relief paste.

Wow, this is so beautiful!!! I'm sorry what did you use if not paint? What is king gold? It looks awesome whatever it is!!! Your details always amaze the hell out of me. Great job my friend, and thanks for submitting to the group, always a pleasure to see your work!!

glad you like it. It is a relief paste I usually use for my glass painting when I draw the lines before painting, but this time I wanted to try something different, I did not use paint to fill it and focused more on the details. the king gold is the name of this type of gold colour - the relief paste comes in I think 3 or 4 types of gold
Unfortunately due to workload I am unable to do as much art as I would want to. Still, as the experiment came out quite ok, I am planning to do a series of this kind
