This is my new comic series, "Goin' Native". I was inspired to do this comic because of *humon and her comic series "Scandinavia and the World". So, you could say that this fan art.

Okay, here's a few key things you should know:

The one on the left is Lakota or, as most people know it as, Sioux. The guy has a Siouxstar design on his shirt.

The one on the right is Ojibwe, also known as the Chippewa. The Ojibwe are known for their floral beadwork, hence the reason why I gave him a flower with vines on his shirt.

Frybread is a flat dough fried or deep-fried in oil, shortening, or lard. The dough is generally leavened by yeast or baking powder. You can put all sorts or stuff on it.

Wajopi is a Lakota food. It's basically a berry pudding.

Just to tell you, the Lakota is gonna show up a lot in these comics. Obviously because I'm Lakota. XD
