Description To continue 'Monster Month' on Deviant Art, here we have a 6 pack of various Monsters. These were collected from the jungles of Colombia, South America and the wilds of Latvia, Europe. From top to bottom, left to right we have: Floating Chompodon, Thinnians Lizziod, a Giant from the Riga region, Trixyzlops, a Felioctopuss, and finally, a Spudreykks. We in the Sir D.N.A. 109 Laboratories hope to have them on display in the Zoo sometime later in this following year. Please know that all monsters are treated with the utmost respect and are contained within the most humane conditions. Some, have even petitioned for Citizenship in the United States of America. We are reviewing the very strong possibility of allowing these creatures full and equal rights to live and prosper in the USA.

Well, your message, Niwet, got cut off or maybe I can't read it. But as a rule of thumb, I use brushes for everything organic. So animals, humans and plants all get inked with various brushes and India ink. Anything man-made or manufactured, I use a series of different pens. Such as buildings, automobiles and I-pads etc. Starting with the pencils I decide what places have 'spot blacks'. Which is entire fields of complete blacks. Like eyes or very dark shadows. I usually use three different brushes: the smallest and finest point comes from 000 brushes, a 0 (zero) brush which does most of the outline work, and a #1 brush which is larger for large areas of black and the giant's hair. Sometimes I use a Japanese brush for really large areas and effects. For this piece, the only pens I used were on the fish bowl, because it gives me a very clean and precise line. The 000 brush I use lastly, for small details in the eyes, shading on teeth and faces.  Sometimes, if I make a mistake or if I want to make some highlights, I use white acrylic paint on top of the ink. I hope this answers some of your questions? If not, send another note and I will try to answer you as best I can. Thanks!
