Cool!

I did some mech animations of my own in the past, before making a computer game based on battletech. The initial animations I did were like this, but when i did calculations on speed and size of the mechs, it made much more sense to slow them down. Such a big object can't realistically move so quickly, and so I set the biggest mechs to walk slowly and the smaller, faster ones to walk at an increased, but not unnatural pace.

Things that can be done to make it look faster without making it look small;

> take large, bounding steps

> turns can be slow, but show a great deal of inertia, a 30 ton vehicle can't turn on a dime

> make the enemy fire less accurate, mechs wade through a hail of inaccurate gun fire, and those that move slowest are going to spend more time under fire

> have a big mech in there lumbering around, it will make the smaller ones look more nimble

Golly that's smooth, and very real movements for the 'mech. Good work!
