Description
For Draw or Die's Ascension 13 challenge I decided to redesign a classic godzilla monster. I really want to play around with Ghidorah's design, emphasizing that he's a weird astro-monster from space, and making him look more alien.Related content

My favorites are the crouching Rodan & the Anguirus! Very well done, Rodan looks sleek but powerful, and I'd LOVE to see Anguirus appear in the upcoming Godzilla film instead of Mothra, dude deserves bigger roles.

OOOH! I like that second rodan! I always envisioned him with feathers and that against light, the tips would glow and shine like gold. Gold and Red, man.

I used to be a fan of these characters but as the years went on and Godzilla being the only monster to get an actual update, the other Kaiju's designs started to become more outdated. but if these characters are brought back with these new designs I will become an instant fan.
Sure, Mothra had her own spin off series and he several new designs. but Ghidora, Angrius, and Rodan stayed almost exactly the same for a very long time. I really hope to see your designs or atleast something similar to them in the next Godzilla movie.

Thanks, man! I usually do sketches on paper (just feels nicer), scan them in and then continue in photoshop using a tablet

Really cool concepts. I don't know if it's just me but seeing them in those nude flesh tones is a lot scarier and disturbing than their regular colors for some reason. And i definitely mean the good kind of disturbing.
