Description Sometimes an idea comes along and refuses to subside.. in particular this illustration takes inspiration from many sources.
Some from medieval total war modification, Third Age others from the film itself. But the core concept is from the late middle age where two handed swords where used for a while to break pike formations. This is as I call it a "gondorian" equivalent.

I love it! Great pose, and determined/confident face! Good work on the shiny armour. /thumbup
Now for some constructive stuff: The background is a bit flat, needs more depth. And the white cloth is smoothed too much. Dare to be a bit bold and use some clean edge brushstrokes too.

thanks, I'll see what I can be done with the cloth and the backgound was a headache the grass in particular : p
