and me made this picture for the 2008 Gargoyles Calendar.

The topic of the calendar was "Favourite scenes from the series" - and this is one of my favourite scenes
It's from the episode "Long way to Morning" in which Demona chases Hudson & Goliath on a cemetary.
We left the shot mostly as it was seen on TV, we only left out the gun Demona was actually using in this scene. Well, she's Demona...she doesn't really need a gun, does she?

Chireiya did the lineart and I coloured it. It was the only picture that I coloured in 2007. I had some technical problems and I was forced to do the colouring in PS6 while I normally use PS7 - if you happen to know both versions you know that this is quite a step backwards ^^
Anyway, I got my PS7 back when I was nearly finished so I could use my favourite brushes for the final strokes

Although the picture was a lot of work, for me it didn't really feel as work. I loved the scene and the drawing from the beginning and I also quite like the final picture. It felt good seeing the picture develop from day to day.

I think this is one of the best colorings I have done so far - not because of the result but because of the enjoyment I experienced while working on it
