Description
Year: 1999Media: Conte pastels, china ink, watercolors, charcoal.
Briefing: When I lived in Australia I learnt a little about the indigenous people there. This artwork is of an Aboriginal Elder, and I believe it embraces the longsuffering they have had to put up with the European colonization of their Land - their Dreaming.

this is amazing!
the way you've used the pastels for the light and shadows adds so much more dimension and life!

I think your painting is very powerful and emotional piece, the face feels very sculptural, like a busts from rome times.
keep the good work
