I have done plenty of debates with people on other sites, but some were harder than others. I've done debates with Predator up against various characters such as Wolverine, Spider-Man, Batman, Boba Fett, etc. Now, I can admit that Predators can lose a lot of fights but there are also a lot of fights which they can win too.

spidey couldnt hack it, batman is pretty smart but that is good toss up, boba fett? uhhh i think he might run away screaming. Β son just said that there was a comic where batman beat a predator could be typical heroes always win thing though. my other son asked what about doomsday verses a predator?

Batman vs Predator definitely was a result of Batman being protected by plot-shielding and of course the writers had to have Batman win because he is the good guy. However in the first encounter between Batman and the Predator, the Hunter in question made Batman's beating by Bane look relatively tame. Realistically though, Batman would've and should've died considering that he had a two foot long blade pierce into his abdomen region and likely it would've cleaved his liver in two considering where Batman was struck. Peak human conditioning or not, a human being would've died from the shock and blood loss alone from a vital organ being cut in half.
As for Doomsday vs Predator, I'm pretty sure Doomsday would win! Heh heh!

my boy said thanx, yeah batman i dont know man he has lives and he has no powers. i like the last movie where the dr says all the sh#t that is wrong with him and he cant recommend he goes hella skiing. with the strength of the predator i dont doubt that. actually seems more like the only reason he does live is cuz of the hero no die plot and everyone steppin in hi shoes. by the way totally your response to jason possession thing that was great.

Well, I try my best to be knowledgeable about the combatants in a debate and in the case of Jason Voorhees, I have seen some of the movies which he has been featured in and had to research up on what he is more than capable of. So really knowing somethings about these two particular characters, it does provide some more insight as to who would win in a fight between these two.
By the way, I took a look at your gallery! You've got some awesome Cosplay going on there, and you're definitely in the right physical shape to be Deadpool and Spider-Man!

I would definitely say that the Predator wins this fight. For one, the Predator is much physically stronger than Jason Voorhees. Your standard Predator is somewhere between 2 - 5 tons in strength, and if you count the expanded universe material, Elite Predators are somewhere between 6 - 8 tons in strength and Elders are likely somewhere between 8 - 16 tons. Of course this is considering if you account the Alien vs Predator games, especially Predator: Concrete Jungle as canon. And then there is the technology which the Predator has which is something that Jason Voorhees doesn't really have much of a means to cope with. Sure, Jason cannot be killed but that doesn't mean he cannot be put into a dormant state, or suffer total bodily destruction-- if the latter, Jason's soul will be pulled back into Hell until he is resurrected by outside intervention. If you ask me, Predator wins.

I would tend to agree with you there, it's kind of a mismatch in a way.
but if you stripped the predator of all it's projectile and laser weapons and left it with say
just a blade then I think Jason could win.
As you say barring blowing him to tiny bites,
or cutting off the head Jason can't die

It depends on what kind of Predator we are talking about in terms of physical stats, as I had already described. I can see Jason giving a low ranking Predator such as Unbloodeds, Young Bloods, and Blooded ranks (these are your standard Predators), then Jason would have something of a much better chance at probably killing one but keep in mind these are the low ranking warriors and they are still very dangerous. Jason doesn't have much of the physical stats to compete with even an Unblooded. If he were to fight an elite veteran or an Elder... it's a huge mismatch.
Also, according to the expanded universe, Predators do have a martial art which they are trained in called Jehdin. According to the author, Steve Perry, who had written Alien vs Predator: Prey, and Alien vs Predator: War-- Jehdin is best described as a complex martial art which is kind of like a mish mash of Silat and Aikido. So even an inexperienced Predator has hand to hand training where Jason really just hacks and slash.
Also, while Jason cannot be truly killed, he can be rendered incapacitated or even sealed.. If he is trapped under the waters of Crystal Lake, he cannot escape as it's the place where he had supposedly died.

Well Jason doesn't feel pain, so even hitting brutally hardΒ wouldn't have the effect you would see on other predators,
humans or even Aliens for that matter, all Jason would need is one well placed shot, but he rather mindless, slow and just hacks
so yes it is a miss match no doubt there
