Thomas the Tank Engine really did come through over the past years since May 12th, 1945. He started from the original book series by the Rev. W. Awdry, then to the adaptation series in 1984 in the U.K. and 5 years later in the U.S. in 1989 And then from 2009 to the present, Thomas is in full CGI animation. Thomas is still an icon to all of the fans around the world, no matter how old or young the fans are. Happy birthday to Thomas the Tank Engine and happy 75th anniversary to "The Railway Series".
