COMMENTS MUCH APPRECIATED!never not drawing ftm!Sherlock.
I wish I had something more clever to say about this but I don't think I have. Not right now.
I am aware that there are trans*folk who are not entirely comfortable with the idea of ftm!Sherlock but it's my belief that working on your own issues through art and fic is a rather great method. We all experience things differently, and that's okay.

I really love the idea of ftm Sherlock, but please, from a transman with experience, please draw him in a proper binder if you're drawing pre-top surgery Sherlock. I understand bandages are the most commonly used image when referring to us, but it is dangerous.
Other than that, the idea is pretty solid for the BBC verse, the "Other One" being pre-everything Sherlock. the coloring is lovely, the pose is well executed. Keep on with the ftm! You've got this ftm's approval.
PS. if you have drawn him with a binder in a drawing I haven't seen, disregard that portion of my comment. ^_^

I adore this and the idea.
First ftm!Sherlock piece I've seen and I'm so wonderfully ecstatic to have it be this.
Your style is so refreshing and smooth-feeling; it's got a wonderful mood to it and just overall it makes me feel happy and at peace--like just going through a daily routine as Sherlock is here

So far, ftm!Sherlock has been more of a fanfic concept than a fanart one. I have a bunch of sketches, but apart from this piece I've only ever properly finished one more: [link]

The fandom is currently very driven by crack (that's what having to wait for a year for new episodes does to you, I suppose), but in general it's a brilliant and very openminded bunch of people. Never before have I encountered such an acceptence and even exploration of neuro-, sexuality-, and gender diversity and concepts surrounding it. The number of fellow asexual aspie transpeople I've found is astounding and wonderful.

Sherlock is a male and the canon, and in the ftm adaptation he is still a male. Trans men are guys.
In any case, I love this picture a hell of a lot. The casual air of it, combined with Sherlock's very serious, very... Sherlockian...expression, makes it a brilliant picture. I love the blue and orange shades, and also how high Sherlock has got his pants pulled up (over his navel, it looks like) because it makes him look like a nerd.

I actually love the idea of ftm!Sherlock and other 'gender ideas. I'm very tolerant person and think that such openness is needed. Besides that it makes Sherlock only more interesting character. Plus, your drawing is just great, you're very talented
