What program was used for this one? It looks like Adobe Illustrator.

Aside from the few I made in SketchUp, all my lightsabers were made using MS Paint and then colored in Photoshop.

Ah, impressive! I was never too good at MS paint. But with Photoshop and Illustrator, I've done a few lightsasber designs of my own.

I've never used Illustrator. I imagine it's difficult to use without a stylus, yes? All I've got is a mouse. I'm pretty limited in what I can do. And actually, now that I have a more updated version of Paint, I can't do lightsabers anymore because some of the features I used aren't there anymore. Very annoying.

Oh well to each their own devices. And no it's not impossible, just a lot harder. It is unfortunate about MS Paint not having the needed features. But I know you'll find a way to work around that flaw. Most lighsaber artists usually do.

I generally work in SketchUp now, another program I'm really only marginally okay with. But I'm alright with that. It's still fun to tinker with.

I've heard good things about SketchUp, but my silly Mac, won't let me open the program.

For a free program, it's incredibly powerful. The things I've seen people make using it are breathtaking.

I know right?! That's why I'm so annoyed that I can't use it with my Mac.

Is it a Mac thing in general or specific to your computer?

I think its a little of both. My Mac, is actually a 'ancient' model. It's worked great for what I've needed, but for other things it could use an upgrade or two.

That sucks. Until I got my laptop, I, too, had to wrestle with a dinosaur of a computer. It would freeze up if I was working on a model that was too complicated.

I might have to get a laptop of my own eventually.
