Description I based this design off the blades Riddick used in The Chronicles of Riddick. Though it looks unwieldy and even dangerous to use, I've actually worked out in my head ways that this design could be used pretty successfully. It would take some practice, but it could be done.

it actualy wouldnt be more dangerous to use then a regular saber, you would just need to find the right way to use it, then its all fun and games.

but this would be better suited to characters who use non direct attacks, such as sith assassins.

but a very wonderful and beautiful saber nonetheless

perhaps the spines have a pure critosis on the edges, allowing in a saber fight to disable the foe's saver,( pure critosis disables rather then just blocks sabers in a critosis weave) but it would be more brittle

actualy they wouldnt be any more dangerous to use then regular sabers, and id imagine they would be more usefull to quick attacks as well as sith assassins

perhaps the spines on the curve of the hilt are lined with critosis, since pure critosis can disable lightsabers( this allowing the user to then make a batle over quicker

My intent was for the spines to be sharpened into blades. The hilt could then be used as a weapon even when not lit.
