...It was abundantly clear from the start that this was not a battle we could win, hell, our objective wasn't to push the Empire back, that was an impossibility, all we could ever hope for was to stall them long enough for the bulk of our forces to retreat, sacrificing our own lives to save our comrades, no matter how many enemies we defeated there would be a hundred more to take their place... Many of my friends fought bravely beside me, even knowing that the odds were against them, they pushed on because they believed in something more than their own lives, they believed in the Rebellion, and that they give their lives to bring freedom to the Galaxy, their passion could very well have thawed the snow and ice of Hoth... Quinn Shara's memoirs, Rebel Alliance years, reflecting upon the Battle of Hoth, and the bravery of her comrades.

Not that much to say, a battle scene, it's fun to draw Isabelle actually kicking ass, she's a skilled shot y'know, and her rifle is a custom build, using a heavy, overcharged battery, it can punch through even an AT-ST's armor, and if you're as good a shot as Izzy, even multiple enemy infantry with a single bolt.

This is the first major battle Isabelle has been apart of since Alderaan's destruction, though she's coming to the realization that vengeance isn't satisfying, fighting for what's already been lost only leaves her feeling empty, and wracked with regret for letting her friendship with the young Jedi Quinn Shara collapse, if they survive the battle however she plans to make amends...

This was fun, I don't draw battles too often, so I hope it looks good, especially the explosions and laser bolts (I know the greens should be red...), feedback here would be greatly appreciated! ;w;

I was happy to draw Zomori again too, his beard is one of my favourite things in this entire AU! XD

Anyhow, that's that, part three to follow shortly hopefully! ^_^
