Art!!! At long last!

Though not what ya'll were expecting I'd wager?

Honestly I wasn't expecting this either, Star Wars OC art is on the way, but here's some Gravity Rush fan art!

Gravity Rush is such a wonderful game, it was the reason I got a PS Vita, and I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel that's in development!
I've wanted to draw Gravity Rush fan art for ages, I've tried in the past, but I've never been satisfied, and honestly it's because I didn't have the skills at the time... Anyway, I drew this last night, after revisiting Gravity Rush for the first time in a long time, I was up all night long drawing this, and I'm actually quite satisfied with it!

Anyway, I drew Kat, the Gravity-controlling hero of the game (and the player's character), sitting on the side of a building, or pillar, along with Dusty, the Cat who accompanies Kat.
The background is of Hekseville, the setting of the first Gravity Rush, which is a group of four cities suspended high above the clouds, connected to a giant pillar, the city of Vendecentre is in the immediate background, with Endestria suspended high in the distance.

I really struggle with backgrounds, which is why I've been kind of reluctant to draw Gravity Rush fan art, as it's something that I believe the background of of great importance to. but I'm happy with how this looks, I took some creative liberties mind you, with Endestria looming high in the distance, rather than lower, also the roof garden (in the lower right) is something I wanted to add, as I really liked the idea... XD

Agh, I adore the world of Gravity Rush, and am so glad to draw something half-decent... XD
Even if my crappy scanner didn't pick up a lot of the shading... and my background is kind of sketchy... Eheh...
