Finished it, I've been ill this past week, but I need the distraction, since I've been really depressed lately... I draw because it cheers me up being able to create something, I'm not an amazing artist, not by a long shot, but I'm happy to at least be able to make something, y'know? And if I can possibly put a smile on someone's face, well, that's reason enough to keep on keepin' on.

Anyway, yeah, it's two of my yuri OCs, Camellia (the girl with the nasal cannula) and Nier (the girl with the punk hair), I have so many feeling towards these OCs, they make me so happy because they love each other so much, but they make me so sad because of Camellia's illness...

Heheh, I'm using the Angel metaphor again, it's odd, I really love it, and yet I'm not at all religious, I guess I can always appreciate symbolism when it comes to faith, rather than belief itself, not that I'm against religion, quite the opposite, variety is the spice of life after all, the more diversity in the world the better, but I digress, I've gone off topic, my bad... The whole Angelic Metaphor applies to Camellia for many reasons, she's a kind and loving girl; she suffers from an incurable illness (Nier says that Camellia fell from heaven and heavens trying to take her back, but that heaven doesn't deserve to have her back, heheh, such a sweetie) ; Camellia is actually a pilot, she flies fighter jets ( military personnel get free healthcare).

Eh, I'm quite happy with this, I really like Camellia's face, she looks so at peace, nuzzling up to Nier... God I love the word nuzzle, it's so cute... XD I decided to have her wearing odd socks too, I've got no idea why, it just seemed cute at the time I guess?

I decided to call this piece Safe and Sound, after the song by Tonight Alive, I was listening to it whilst colouring and it seemed to fit nicely, I really like the acoustic version... I like to imagine Nier maybe has an acoustic guitar, and maybe she has an amazing singing voice too but nobody knows because she only sings when she's alone.

Ugh, the background didn't scan well, my cheap scanner cannot handle big blocks of colour...

Anyway, that's that, I really hope you like em', and feedback is always appreciated!
