Description:
Overall, Oliqa is sweet and considerate of the people around her. When you get to know her, she can be straightforward with her opinions. One of the only times she would not hesitate to be stern or lecture a person is when it comes to food (wasting food/not finishing meals/ eating messily, etc). It's just part of the motherly instinct that somehow comes naturally to her. For that, she enjoys taking care of kids and young baby birds because it makes her feel like a mother. She really has a soft spot for cute things. She likes to wear simple clothing since she can move easily. Also, she would rather have her seafood raw which is why she would rather have sashimi and sushi.

Usually, she can be very particular about romance, even stories. She rolls her eyes at clichés or cheapened romances since it's not the idea of true love. She would narrow her eyes at people who do excessive PDA unless it's a couple she supports. She usually keeps it to herself when she sees a possible couple. She may tease one of them when if she knows them. Take Shiro and Yuki for example. She was (subtly) teases ( Chi-Mite 's OC) Shiro (and trains him to get abs) while Yuki (LunyaChan 's OC) is not around.

Oliqa wasn't always stern. She was carefree and didn't really concern herself with the responsibility of the Alae clan because she was dreaming about having the least cliche romance experience possible. She wanted to have a good relationship with her bird counterpart, the Arctic tern. The Arctic Tern was found alone and unconscious when the Navigators of the Alae clan were looking where the phoenix feather landed. It was rare among the bird counterparts of the Alae clan to have a revived bird since every other bird was a newborn when they received the Phoenix feather. Therefore, the Arctic Tern was naturally distant with the Alae clan in general, even with her own partner.

Oliqa named the Arctic Tern, Nix, which is the Latin word for "Snow" but that was an excuse she made to make it seem that "Nix" was not extracted from the word, "Phoenix". She had to bear with Nix's cold and distant nature for a while but it irritated her that jokes to herself that it's probably because the Nix was from the northern region and found on a snowy day. No matter what meal her family was having, Nix would make a fuss with the other birds for not having a clean plate like hers.

Nonetheless, this still has caused tension between them until her family decided to put them in a On-The-Job training program. Since Arctic Terns had to travel north and south, Oliqa had to get used to the feeling. However, she was fatigued from the several trips but she chose to continue because she became closer with Nix who started to show concern with regards to her condition. In Oliqa's dying moments, she learned about Nix's past before she was revived. They two made amends before she fell into her eternal slumber.

The Oliqa you see now is the a body made from the deceased Oliqa's memories and the mind and heart moving it is her bird counterpart, Nix. Their bond is sealed by the pact of the Alae clan since it allows each member to have one bird counterpart. When either half dies, the other half receives the whole soul and with it, the deceased counterpart's memories which gives the remaining half of the duo the ability to transform into the deceased counterpart.

Besides being a character with her own spin-off story of my collaborated story with Tajii-chan , Flock of Flames, Oliqa's also my character for daisukiclub on instagram . I couldn't help it since Chi-Mite 's part of the club andhername'salsoTrishasowe'llbelliketwinsifI'meverinLOL. The admissions just ended and given that the current members have to check about 3,380+ drawings (since we're allowed to draw the character several times), we're all waiting in suspense right now until the 29th of September. I just have to say this is my first character sheet with an outfit breakdown AND my first ...tragic story in a while. ouo
