This was so much fun, omg!

Name: CA1 - Cipher 'C' for Chog. 'A1' is his ID number, and 'Cipher' is the name the scientists gave him. Also a play on "Calsifer" )
Breed: Chog (Cheetah x Dog)
History: A pair of scientists that worked at the GeneCorp labs wanted a dog that could go faster than the rest, and so the "Chog" was born.
A mix between a Cheetah and a Sighthound, the Chog could indeed go faster than the rest. Dr. Chok and Dr. Thiks were the ones responsible for creating the Chogs. Being both hound racers and scientists, they found themselves at the hard end of each rope; The dogs they raced just weren't fast enough, and they couldn't come up with anything for the lab worth the little money they got. Finally, after being fed up with failure after failure, one of them came up with the Idea to mix a cheetah and a sighthound together, creating the ultimate racing machine, and proving to everyone that they could create something something worthy of the lab. (Admittedly, though, they were being pompous and over-confident with the the last theory.)
They did this in secret, and so a limited number of only #5 of these Chogs were to be created. Cipher was #1 of the five created, and easily the best. Life was extremely difficult for him. He was pushed to work and be the best, and if he didn't meet their standards then he would often be left without food for several days and they would hit him with hard hands at even the smallest mistakes. Still, despite this unfortunate mistreatment, he worked to please them. Other canines would judge him for this, but it was all he knew. This went on for three years, until, at the hight of the Chog's Production, the Lab was shut down. Every other Chog was kept accept for Cipher, who was left to fend for himself.
Build: Cipher has the slim but rectangular body of a cheetah, as well as the square hind legs of only the fastest cheetah. He's got thin, scraggly fur, often lengthening around his name and tail. He's got the paws, head and forelegs of the sighthound in him.

I'm really happy with how I was able to combine the traits of the two species. I kept his general coloring, but I replaced his brined stripes with some cheetah-like spots and I also gave him the face-stripe that a cheetah has
I also boxed-off his face more than a sighthounds normally would be and kept his fur shorter.
It's not the most clever of Ideas, but I'm happy with it c:
