waaaaa my very first Mary sue Spyro character!! How time flies :”””) I also like how like a week or so ago I posted the super revamped Textor and then… changed her design,,,….. womp womp
anyways here’s some more info on Textor:
name: Textor
age: 34 revolutions
element: shadow and plasmir (fire-like substance that turns into a liquidesque substance once it hits a solid surface but still burns it so like yknow LAVA? but it’s like got magic properties to it idk just take my word for it)
residence: her and her husband and 2 daughters live just outside of the village of Norbus, she does not belong to a tribe
Other powers: she has the power to summon a creature called the Beast of Prevane (I’ll do a big thing on that later rip) due to the magic that flows within her. It’s not a “dark” or “psycho” side of her, it’s a literal gigantic leviathan-type creature that will obey her and those of her kind. It lies dormant underwater around the Dark Lands of Prevane (hence the name) in wait for those who call for it (it is undetermined how many there are still alive, if at all. one hasn’t been seen in generations).
Etc.:
-(I’ll try to make this short n sweet) Textor was born in the Dark Lands of Prevane, which is essentially a land filled with evil, dark magic, and unethical practices. she was taken from her family after she hatched from her egg because her species is highly looked down upon (Chrysta Drakes with the crystals in their shoulders). Neither of her parents were Chrysta Drakes, so it is speculated that one of her grandparents was one, but it is unconfirmed. Her kind are incredibly powerful, with their elements having magical properties and being able to summon the BOP (lmao i chortled at that), so she was essentially traumatized by the unspeakable things they did to her at the facility she, among others, was kept at. She was infused with dark magic during the formative years of her life, thus giving her the corrupted element of shadow. She was forced to use it over and over and over until it was perfected. After over a decade and a half of this, she was one of the lucky ones to escape. Not knowing anything about anything, she flew and flew until her emaciated, battered body found the shores of Thynadria. Here, she met Fjord, a Tundra Keeper. For a long time, he was the only one she trusted until he taught her what it was like to be a dragon and not an experimental slave.

-She’s not perfect, she is still heavily affected by her past trauma. She has severe PTSD and anxiety. you cannot approach her quickly from behind or in a dark room, and tight spaces, complete silence, crowded areas, and being outside at night makes her panic (needs a nightlight ). She has night terrors, and she’s on medication and seeing a therapist. Sometimes she will have “episodes” where she is just not present and can get hysterical and sometimes aggressive and violent. Fjord is the only one who is able to reason with her during these periods. She debated on having children for years because of her mental stability, but ultimately decided she wanted them and to give them the childhood she never had.

-She never uses her shadow element, and has never summoned the Beast. She refuses to associate with her artificial and natural abilities

-she takes a while to warm up and trust others, but once you prove to her that you’re an ally, she’ll die for you.
-she has scars, mainly on her limbs and head.

-incredibly clean, showers like 3 times a day sometimes.

-if her husband isn’t around, she will confide in Vortex. She considers her a dear friend and contacts her if she needs anything or just wants to talk. Vortex can say and do things not many others can get away with.

Hope that wasn’t too disturbing, I tried not to make her personality revolve around her trauma because those characters are wack and overdone to hell. and I was so tired of the “purble dergen powerful bc he purble” trope, but I like her colors so I just made her her own species. Like the other purple dragonesses, she’s traumatized, but at least she is AFFECTED BY IT and it is DEBILITATING. Other Mary sues be like “she was tortured and her family was killed and she’s special and she almost died 8 times but don’t worry she’s mentally stable enough to take on the dark master and single handedly defeat him!!!” Like no Textor would break down crying at the mention of conflict pls leave her out of it lol.
