I would suggest pointing out that this is the more expensive method of doing it. there's a fantastic tutorial here: [link] on how to do clouds using nurbs and a shader. They actually look pretty realistic and they're miles cheaper than fluids.

Yes, I agree it's expensive, but I think that these are a lot more customizable in terms of large scale sky. Guess it all depends on your scene and workflow, whatever works best right.
