Nicknames/Aliases: "The Law of the West" (as he liked to call himself), and mr. Jester by his not so appreciative acquaintances.
Function: Sheriff

Personality: Competitive and vain, Lester can be a real pain when it comes to solving crimes. No one is allowed in his way, and he considers everyone a potential suspect. He sees himself as a professional detective and an extraordinary fighter, even though reality usually comes back to slap him back in the face. But when Lester decides he wants something, nothing stops him from going after it.
He enjoys acting "intellectually superior" to other dogs, always using complicated terms which confuse them. He knows how to act sickening classy, and specially likes to do so every time he meets a new lady.
But apart from all the irritating behavior, Lester has a very honorable heart, and even though he might sometimes act immaturely, all he truly wants is to bring back justice to the west.

Background: Lester comes from a very traditional family. He had two older sisters, but they never had any sort of bond besides fighting all day. The Lawson family had a very complicated relationship with their neighbors, a Rough Collie family who habited the farm next to theirs. Lester's parents would fight them every single day over the most trivial things, just so they could prove themselves superior. Since then, Lester caught some sort of distaste over any Rough Collie dog. Some time later, he moved from his parent's home to live with his uncle Kenneth, the old, but good sheriff from Gold Marrow. He became his deputy, and when Kenneth finally retired, he assumed his place as the town's sheriff.

Relations: Sheriff Kenneth's nephew, son of Ian and Gina Lawson. Younger brother of Paula and Stella. His only "friend" is an old cat called Curtis, and he thinks Steban , Hank and Martin are morons who cause nothing but trouble. He has a secret crush for Faye .
