Description
The lineart from the Outcast Character Art battles.I drew Dante as my first opponent.
My choice of character was Katar Hol, the Silver Aged Hawkman.
Right now, I'm working on fixing this up to make it clean, but here's the initial 3 hours of drawing tonight.
You can see here that Katar thinks Dante has a nice sword, but a potty mouth.

Holy Bojangles, Hawkman!! This is a stunning action piece dude. The motion of the battle is perfect and i have to especially give you props for the links in the chain. Not only does the chain cure correctly, but the consistency of every link...Dios Mio mi amigo!!! Excellent. Hawkman's musculature is also captured perfectly. Top notch with the shading too.

The chain, I learned, is a relatively simple trick. Draw two paralell lines, and then fill in the links. It took a bit.
Dante's teeth flying and the look on his face was one of my favorite bits on this, though the feathers and the chain were a heck of a lot of fun.

oh wow that's so smart!! but u hafta draw in pencil i assume, so as to rub out the excess lines. I cba with pencil and just draw with straight biro, i certainly pay the price sometimes but just dont like pencil for some reason. Haha.

You could do the pen lines lightly, and then simply make the "corners" in it.
I didn't end up doing any erasing on the chain, so, there was that.
Dante bit off more than he could chew.
