Description The UAPC (Universal Automatic Pistol caliber Carbine) is a versitile compact bullpup sub machinegun (wow, that's a lot of adjectives). You use it to, well, do what you'd do with an MP5 or and Uzi or something similar. It's not really that inovative now that I think of it. It's just a bullpup SMG, primarily chambered for 10mm auto or .357 sig. All right, it is rather powerful and quite small, but still not all that special. It is basically what I am to my oldest little brother, to an MP5 (shorter, bulkier, more powerful, gas operated)

Oh, and it ejects downward. The port is behind the magwel. (the brass catcher on the lower one should be an obvious clue as to where it is).

Can be configured to fire the following cartridges;
6.5x25mm CBJ
9x19mm para
.357 sig
.40 S&W
10mm auto

It's more of a miniature nature.

Third one down that muzzle is just a bit too close for anybody's comfort.. like the bottom one though....

The gasses should be directed upwards, sidewards and forwards, it really shouldn't be that much of a problem. Besides, it's only to be used whenever even the M240 on your tank broke down.

I have a feeling you intended for this weapon to work best with the integral suppressor, huh? XD

I like its fourth incarnation the most. Otherwise, it looks skeletal, or fragile.

If you remove the handguard from an AR15 it isn't any more fragile than it was before, isn't it? But yeah, I really wanted one with a suppressor xD

Well, yes, and no. More no then yes, but maybe thats just a personal preference. XD In my mind, if one took a weapon into battle, especially from close to mid range, I'd want it be sturdily designed to handle the conditions of war. Seeing all of that open space on the gun makes me think the barrel would get bent around somehow.

It's not gonna bend any easier than an AR15's barrel. Have you ever seen an SVD? people trash that thing around all the time, and it's got about 23cm of barrel exposed to the elements (measuring from where the gas block ends, and the flash hider starts).

I love bullpups. As far as possible calibers go, could I suggest the .224 BOZ (10mm case necked down to .223)? It would be very effective without having the ridiculous muzzleblast of a micro barreled 5.56 carbine and would fit nicely in your magazines.

Skariaxil In reply to High-Tech-Redneck [2011-03-14 08:33:42 +0000 UTC]

It's never been a popular cartridge, and there are cartridges way more effective than the .224 BOZ. Besides, I already have the cartridges figured out. 6.5x25mm is as close to what you named as it gets.
