Hooray for Master Chief! This is referenced from the Halo 3 Starry Nights trailer, which I adore. I made the stylistic choice of an epic sunrise mainly because it looks awesome. Also, I got bored texturing, so the detail just sort of vanishes in some areas (namely the top of his head and his chest). Other comments and critiques are totally cool with me.

EDIT: I would consider this to be a portrait, as the only face which MC shows us is this one. His helmet identified him in the way that most people's faces do. Sort of like Darth Vader. Or V from V for Vendetta.
