As I try a few things to design monster for my game, this thing came to life. It's roughly based on a slug, and it has dinosaur legs: a Slugosaur. It has no mouth, because it doesn't need to eat, and no other features because it's the very basic version of the monster. As the game will unfold, it will gain new capabilities, represented by new limbs or modifications of it's body. This version is lucky enough to have legs, but there will be several variation on the way is moves itself: no legs, 2 legs, as depicted above, 4 legs, and winged.Is it weird? I hope so, because that's what I want it to be!

That's a really nice design and concept! It reminds me of the enemies at Lost Izalith in Dark Souls. Also, the animation is conveying the movement really well. Great job!

I didn't played DS enough to see those monster, I looked up the wiki and saw half-dragons legs with tail, that's probably what you're talking about. I'd say there is inspiration in a lot of places, but probably more in the half-life (Houndeyes) or Morrowind (Guars) direction.
