The duo continued onto their journey, Verinant Valley, the lush green valley was full of life, just as it was visually pleasing it was just as visually distracting. From the butterflies fluttering from flower to flower, to the birds chirping and flying through the air, even the rabbits that hid in the tall grasses of the area were common to come across. Most notably was the deer population that would pass through here. It took a lot for a Tokota to not run rampant in such a dense and lively area.
Daavi had been learning so much about Tokotas from fellow tribemate Matteo. He owed it to him on how he was able to better communicate with Kale, the once rowdy and inattentive Tokota he struggled to get to follow orders, with his help he was able to correct those issues. Matt really had such a way with working with Tokotas, it was amazing just to watch him train and work with his own. He always had something new to learn with him, he made him less afraid of making mistakes and more eager to get out there and try. Honestly, Matt even helped Daavi learn about himself, he always urged him to be more confidant in himself and his actions, not just when working with Kale or his other Tokotas.
Admittedly, Daavi felt a pang of worry in himself when trekking through the valley, him and Kale came across a small family of deer. Old Kale would had eagerly ran and chased the deer, not even for the sport of hunt, just to run around and get his energy out! While Daavi would had been wrecked with anxiety and doubt the whole time trying to get the merle under control.
Daavi took a deep breath to ease himself, to believe in Kale, his training, and most of all--himself. Kale's steps through the grass were soft, his posture relaxed, and most of all his energy and aura around the deer was non-threatening. It was rare for Tokotas to get so close to deer like this, especially those with young. Kale kept a comfortable distance, as him and Daavi observed the deer. Occasionally they would lift their heads up from the sounds of Kale footsteps through the grass, or maybe it was more of curiosity?
Once the family of deer at earned their fill, the buck lifted his head, looking straight at Kale and Daavi, before huffing to his herd, he continued to trot along the path, with the other deer in tow.
It felt like a milestone for the two, honestly Daavi couldn't wait to report this back to Matt, the fact that him and Kale were able to walk past a family of deer with such ease was--incredible! All of his training and hard work with Kale had proved itself! He pet Kale, smiling and complimenting his beloved companion.
"You did great out there, I'm so proud of you Kale, it's almost like you were one of the deer out there!"

AFTER SOOOOO LONG OF BEING CONFIRMED FOR DOM, I'VE COMPLETED KALE'S RODS Q__Q
I'm so sorry babyyy, I was such a huge perfectionist when it came to these and admittedly struggled through numerous episodes of self doubt while working on them. And it seemed like each time I had a perfect opportunity to work on them I was either overwhelmed or had more timely matters at hand such as the Summer Event or Tokoween that took my attention.
NOW ITS FINALLY HERE!!
