A NEW DRAWING for my huge holiday upload!!!Just this one today, I had a truly busy day yesterday and could not manage more...YET I think it is a fairly good one!
Here is old Chamberlain SkekSil , smiling cunningly, just as he came from my quill and pencils yesterday night! <3
Even as tireds I was after a truly busy day, it was a real pleasure to draw this since I find his neck laced ruffle and overall his face Β so amusing to work on!

P.S. Since I am also a huge fan of his and I am in the mood for being egoistic (lol) he goes self-dedicated as well! merry christmas, me!...

I use a mix of Daler Rowney watercolor pencils , Staedtler colour pencils and some faber castell Β albrecht Durer water color pencils
I tend to lay down a Β solid mid tone color in acrylic and then use the pencils over that
the watercolor paper is rough enough to still draw on though the acrylic
Some pencils seem to work better , some of the time , theres no real science to it

It's when you're with other skeksis around you or long shots in the movie that you fall to third place or rather second place considering your fellow skeksis SkekLa doesn't appear in the movie at all.Β

I bet SkekLa was either working on her drawings during all movie, or refused terminantly to appear in it whe she was told they would get SkekSil naked and expelled and they wouldn't be stopped from shooting that scene without screechy attempts at defending him from ANYONEΒ
