Description
This is the proudest moment in my papercraft "career"!This model was supposed to be our PaperpokΓ©'s launch model, but that plan didn't quite pan out. But, I guess, better late than never. And as a small electric mouse once said:
"Pi-pi-pi, pika-CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
Special thanks go to POdragon (~Jynxie [link] ) and Brandon (~z8-0 [link] ) for helping me out with some of the 3D stuff.
Go get it, apple and all: [link]

Yeah, the hands and feet were a little fiddly.

I don't know what "fiddly" means. It looks good, though.

Fiddly: requiring close attention to detail; fussy; small and awkward to do or handle; requiring an annoying amount of close attention. "Threading cotton through the eye of a needle can be fiddly."
And thank you

Hum... I'm just a beginner in papercraft, and I would like to know why there is so many folds ?
Pikachu is almost round, so...why ?
And, I would like to know too which part I should begin with, and wich part I should end with
(sorry for my bad english, I'm french)

The models are "ripped" from the nintendo games, and we just edit them so that they are hollow and buildable. Some of the earlier game models are not so good, but we got better at editing them. Most of the templates should print out in construction order and pieces are numbered, but, some of the earlier models didn't get this treatment, unfortunately.
If you are a beginner, I would not recommend this model - it's pretty tricky. I would try some of the models that are labeled "easy" and when you are confident enough with your papercrafting skills, come back and try this one, or even better, the newer Pikachu. Good luck.

With a bunch of patience, good glue and decent card stock.

Yeah, 120gsm should be the minimum weight you should papercraft with.

Your pokemon experience isn't complete until you've accidentally knocked Pikachu out by hitting him in the head with an apple while trying to feed him in Pokemon Snap.

Yeah, we wanted a good Pikachu to launch PaperpokΓ©s in December, but that never happened.
I have some small issues with the weird knobbly elbows, but besides from that, I think it's a pretty great model, too.

Lmao, good one!
...In all seriousness, though, thanks for making an apple papercraft xD! I wanted to make a maplestory Onyx Apple Papercraft, because Onyx Apples are awesome and nobody thought of it yet; I wanted to use a "solid" one, because the glue chronicle one is a wireframe... Lol, I hope you don't mind xD

Sound great ... I have no idea what you're talking about re: maplestory, but the apple is there for everybody to share
Have fun making it, I hope it won't give you too much trouble - just make the body of the apple, and then pop the bottom of it on to close the model.
Unfortunately, the leaf is only 2D single-sided, but that is about the best I can do without more 3D rendering knowledge.
