Description
Giving Harmony another test. Dexter was animated and colored in Harmony essentials and the BG was painted in Paint Tool SAi.I still don't like harmony essentials lack of ability to control onion skin opacity too much. But I might can work around it. Idk.
Right Click to turn off the loop I know he will get annoying. Or I could upload him without sound and link to the youtube vid.

I noticed that when he puts his arms down, his gloves and hands change size (they get a little bigger). Also, the hair flip might start a lil preemptively. But I'm not an animator, and I know that I've no room to criticize in that department, so feel free to ignore me; I mean no offense and other than my nitpicks I rather enjoy this little loop- well, I do when the tab is muted, anyways...

The hand shrink might be due to the bold outline I added after finishing the animation. (because it's hard to see through the onion skins if you use thicker lines) I don't understand how the hair flip starts preemptively since it begins when he does his first quick snap motion down. The hair needs to fly up at this point to give the character the illusion of weight.

I think I see what Shadow-Link-77 is talking about with the hair. When he snaps his head down, the hair unexpectedly rises above its resting position before it follows the head movement. I don't see a problem with the gloves going out of proportion (I didn't even notice), that is what cartoons do. Love the art style. Keep at it!

I was trying to do a smear there but maybe I pushed it up a bit too far? I'll go back in and try tweaking. Thanks for your insight. : D

Thanks, I was testing how to import Backgrounds, sound and how to go about coloring and shading the character model.
I guess I'm not as rusty at animating as I thought I would be, after not really doing it much. x3
