NOTE: I'm well aware of the fact that her weapon of choice is the bow and arrow. But finding a good stock image of a girl poised with one was nearly impossible. And let's be honest, if Katniss had found a sword in the forest, she would've used it too. So no more comments about it, okay?

Actually no she hasn't. Some people from a fansite contacted her agency and they Said:
“I can confirm that Kaya has not met for the role of Katniss as of yet. As ever Kaya is very honoured that she is still considered a possible Katniss by the fans of The Hunger Games.”
When we followed up to clarify if perhaps Kaya had simply read for the role without meeting with Lionsgate, his response left little doubt:
“ Just to be clear, Kaya has not met for the role nor submitted a reading for the role of Katniss.”
To be honest I don't think she's that eager to play the role. Personally not a favourite. I suggest going to mockingjay.net for more infor on movie.
