Description In a deep dark chamber, elite cultists of the Twilight's Hammer request the aid of Zhuma'gur, a powerful tsaguutha. The bloated monstrosity carefully considers the proposal, and compares the magnitude of the tribute they offer against the effort it would have to spend aiding creatures far beneath itself.

The tsaguutha are one of several species of the Anathema, a new breed of aberration created by N'Zoth with the Engine of Malignance. The anathema are intended to be N'Zoth's ultimate creation, his perfect children, to populate Azeroth once his forces have conquered the world. All anathema are highly arrogant, considering themselves above all mortal creatures, and above even the other forces of the Old Gods (they consider themselves the perfect children of N'Zoth's new world). They are loyal to their fellow anathema and will back up their brethren, but in truth each anathema only truly cares for the praise and respect of their creator, who they are fanatically loyal to.

Tsaguutha are the intelligent scheming tacticians of the anathema. They are adept at ordering lesser creatures in battle, commanding them with incredible skill and tactical genius. Tsaguutha are quick to spot an opening in the enemy's defense, or a weakness to be exploited. They are viable fighters on their own, but nothing special compared to other types of anathema. Tsaguutha constantly drool a horrid green ichor that doesn't seem to impede their speech or breathing in any way. They do not care if their drooling disturbs their minions, as they are far too self-centered to worry about their well-being. Though they at least have the courtesy to avoid spilling it on their minions, as it is highly poisonous to non-anathema or non-Old Gods, and the tsaguutha consider it wasteful to kill minions that can still be used for more profitable ends.

About timeΒ  I finally drew one of the anathema, I've had the idea for ages. I'm pretty happy with this one, I think. I like the whole "big bloated schemer" design, since I wanted the tsaguutha to be one of the most intelligent breeds of anathema. The tsaguutha are based on Tsathoggua from the Cthulu Mythos, which is where they also get their name, and in a small part their appearance is inspired by Kog'Maw from League of Legends.
