Description
This "Experiment" like creature was created in the 11th episode of "Stitch & Ai", It was created by Stitch and is the sixth of eight creatures that was created in total in the episode."Stitch & Ai" is not currently available in English (only available in Chinese) so i am unable to give any official details on this creature so any information that i do provide will be what i observe during the episode.
It would seem that all of the "experiment" like creatures that appear in the series are based on Chinese mythological creatures and are all created on screen which means that none of them are official experiments from the original 626 as listed in the end credits of "Leroy and Stitch".
From what i am able to gather from watching the episode, This creature seems to be based on a oyster or clam having the ability to quickly generate pearls and spit the out of its large mouth.

You know, mayhaps this isn't my business (and feel free to come to your own conclusions), but I think I can help name/label the Naughty Creatures, as well as the mythological deities that Jumba makes over the course of the short-lived show. This guy in particular I was thinking Experiment 633: Spitwad, after his ability to ingest and spit out items.
The purple tortoise I was thinking ofΒ Experiment 631 XuΓ‘nwΗ, after the Black Tortoise of Chinese mythology.
And our little red feller with the bat ears I was considering dubbing Mogwai, after the actual Chinese creature it resembles. He'd be Experiment 632. It'd continue on like this as it develops.
But keep in mind this is just MY thoughts on the matter, feel free to come to your own conclusions.

actually the purple tortoise is Experiment 644
the Mogwai is Experiment 641
this guy is Experiment 643
as i went over the series & went over every experiment created in the series & there are a couple created before these guys (a lion guardian, 2 dragons, Jumba's small dragon companion, 1 based on Xienzhi, a child kidnapper, Feng Huang & a Baku inspired one named Mo) & i then looked in what order Stitch created his creatures

I also noticed a couple of Qilin experiments (The red one with a big blue nose and a tan skinny one with red spots.)
Β a Guanxi experiment (The green deer-like experiment with a prominent crest)Β
a Long Gui experiment (The big purple turtle-like experiment)
a Qiongqi experiment ( the blue tiger-like experiment with wings)
some red rabbit-like creature and a rhino, for some reason.

The "Quilin" creatures that you are referring to i beleive are actually just based on standard "Chinese dragons",
The green deer is more likely to be based on a "Quilin" then the other two,
I would agree with your speculation of the turtle being based on a "Longgui"(one word, When you split the name it becomes a character from final fantasy),
I would also agree with you on the "Qiongqi",
I have a feeling that the rabbit like creature might be based on a "Mogwai" possibly
and finally The Rhino might be based on a "Elasmotherium" a prehistoric species of Rhino that used to exist in china and is believed to be the origin of various mythological creatures and legends.

I know what this blue clam experiment is loosely based on.
A creature called a Zhubieyu, a soft-shelled turtle-like creature with 6 limbs, 4 eyes, carp-like whiskers and the ability to spit pearls.

The red Mogwai experiment must be a reference to Gizmo or Spike from The Gremlins.

They did, yes. Jumba, I think, was the one who named him. Mo and Dim Long were the only chinese experiments to be given a name.

That giant red chinese lion-like experiment is based on a Nian.

No worries.
I know some experiments were based on Qi-Lin, one was based on a Xie Zhi and there were a good number of Chinese Dragon experiments.

The most bland one of the experiment bunch was a rhino for some reason.
Looks more like a modern day Indian Rhino to me. Or, it could be the extinct Elasmotherium, a 6 metre long Ice Age Rhino with a gigantic horn that covers the top of its head like a party hat and lived across europe and asia. That's was probably where the unicorn myth originated.

They might be Qi Lin as well, because of the antlers. But made to resemble the original 625 experiments. Which is an excellent call back to the original series.

Obviously that is my speculation as to the basis for the creatures but we cant be certain without a translation of the episode...

Since Jumna now recreates Chinese creatures in his own genetic flair, he may as well recreate Greek mythological creatures or prehistoric creatures. What do you think?
