I came across *shinjiiru 's tutorial of how to do realistic eyes and wanted to give it a try. I eventually added on the rest of the face but I'm in love with this way of doing eyes. How this is going to work with the style I'm going for now?? I have no idea but still, I love the way of doing eyes

Also this time I actually used different colors for the shadows... I don't think it's really noticeable though.

i think its becuase you started with the eye thne added the rest if the face, but i think its out of proportion

how will it work with your style? whaddaya mean with this? do you mean the 'anime' style you used for David? you could make the eyes a bit more disney-like, so they're completely closed like with a realistic eye but they're also still big like anime eyes, and then you can apply the techniques for this eye to those disney-like eyes

Yea, I like drawing both ways so I'm now torn. I don't think it'd look right if I did eyes this way and the rest of the face the way I did David's face.

Really lovely work on the eyes, very clear and crystal blue- they remind me of my sisters' eyes, where mine have bits of green and yellow, theirs are pure blue just like that. And nice work on the shape and dimensions of the face, too
