Weeellll, I'm sick... so yeah, thats just great. I don't think its the H1N1, but I will have to check the symptoms to be positive. Hopefully if I just rest the next couple days I'll be fine.Jack Sparrow: Oy! Fish face! Enough about you, what about me?
Me: Fine, fine. No need to get upset...
Jack Sparrow: Oh really? What if all the rum is gone?! THEN can I get upset?
Me: WHAT? NO RUM? Why is it always the rum that's gone?
Jack Sparrow: Now our stealing my lines TOO? Don't make me get my jar of dirt mate...

Haha wow, did I actually just role play?! My gosh, I must be high on benadryl! LOL!
But yes, on to the piece...
Have you ever gotten that feeling, where you just can't believe you created something? Well that is how I feel about this piece. I mean, every time I look at it I just can help but say to myself, "Wow.. Did I REALLY draw that?".
Personally I think this IS my best work I have ever done. Whether you agree with me is up to you.
. I still can't get the left nostril to look right (his left, our right). But hopefully I'll have it fixed by the time this is finished.
The bandanna, surprisingly, isn't taking as long as I had thought it would. Sure this small section has take me about 2 hours, but I honestly thought it would take around 4 because of the small details.
You will notice that there is a small section toward the left of the picture on the bandanna that isn't colored. Why I did this I will explain more in the "surprise" I'm working on that I will submit with the finished piece.
Most of the face, apart from the left nostril, is finished. I added some highlights to his left cheek to give it more definition. I may go back and rework the lips later, but they are fine for now.
The facial hair has been quite a challenge, especially in the darker parts of his face. How do you think they look? I'm not entirely pleased with them, but I'm not disappointed either.

Just one little thing though, on his left (our right) eye there seems to be a bit, on the right of the pupil, which is pointy? Maybe it's just me who sees it though XD

Yes I think I see what you mean. I'm reworking both eyes a little bit so I'll probably change that spot up a little.
