Description
Well... another shiny example of my steampunk obsessionFleet of British Imperial Gravity Defiers flying over desert city somewhere in Arabia. Huge and well-armed Gravity defiers are the latest and most devilish tools of oppresion in the Imperial Arsenal.

This is just so epic in scope and scale and your imagination is as brilliant as your technique and execution of this great piece! Amazing details, incredible realism, and one superb deviation! Congratulations on the DD, as well!

I love the style of the flyers. They look like heads with huge hats or something
And, it's an evidence, the whole piece. The details are really realistic.
The name you give to these flying machines fits perfectly with the steampunk mood. Gravity Defyers is the best name you could have found, I think.
For the Imperial Army !

yeah... you are very close The shape is similar to traditional UK police helmets, it is like a symbol of law in order in the whole imperium.

beautiful.
the soft pastel colours make a nice atmosphere. and i love the way it flows from the little details in the foreground to the sketchy, almost abstract background.

Haha ure welcome I just had to watch u when I saw this one. very well executed. blends together very well and the design is quite sweet too .
miyazaki did ghibli movies such as laputa castle in the sky or princess mononoke. he has some vivid phantasy.

You know, this looks like the kind of thing you'd see in a movie by Miyazaki.

Well, yeah, it is anime
But he directed Spirited Away. I think that was the first movie in the anime category to win an Academy Award.
