Well... another shiny example of my steampunk obsession
Fleet of British Imperial Gravity Defiers flying over desert city somewhere in Arabia. Huge and well-armed Gravity defiers are the latest and most devilish tools of oppresion in the Imperial Arsenal.

I love the way they almost look like stormtrooper helmets. Nice piece of subliminal design there.
Nice touch with the figures in the foreground as well.

i love the mountains and you have just the right amount of detail , the only thing that bothers me is the peak just below the second ship, it seems too triangular, unnatural

I really love this one. Were you using any blended in photo reference like you did for Atlantis? It's all working very well. The atmospheric perspective is right on. I know I will look at this for reference when I do more environmental speedpainting.
The one bit of critique I've got is that it might have been cool to make the main airship really huge, taking up all that empty space on the upper left.Maybe even bleeding off the page. Then we'd get to see more detail on it, like some tiny crew men. BUT negative space can be a good thing too. So I definately respect this approach as well.

jo tak... rozne utrzky z fotiek vyuzivam dost casto kvoli texturam povrchov. Aj ked vo vysledku to nie je velmi vidiet, dodavaju autenticitu. U tohto je to najlepsie vidno vzadu na tych zasnezenych kopcoch - konkretne vpravo. Tam su viditelne pozmenene fototextury ktore vyplnaju moje tradicne nieco-uholniky.
