ANYWAY. Your friendly remember that Tiger's a war vet. After training for some time on Homeworld, Tiger thought she was battle-ready up until she was actually in the middle of a war and entirely overwhelmed by the chaos. After realizing they had lost the battle and assuming everyone she cared about was probably gone, Tiger was too ashamed to attempt to return to Homeworld. She also probably definitely has PTSD.

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who let me borrow their gemsona for this! I didn't expect so many people to ask to be included, and they were all so good and I wanted to put them all in and spend more time actually detailing them all but aaaa this is what I've got for you instead :V Also there was really no rhyme or reason to which ones I did end up picking, it was mostly random except that I tried to pit pro- and anti-homeworld against each other where it fit in. Also-also if you don't see your gem here there's a chance I still used their weapon in the last panel, but I forgot to make a list of those to credit them (oops)
