Some scene study thingsss for my junior project piece. Pretty rough, but I made these while using Clip Studio Paint for the first time, so it's only uphill from here (right?)The forest doesn't have a name, but the village I designed is called Arbury, and it's based off of Solvang, CA which is technically Danish and not German, like the story's supposed to be, but I'm secretly a sucker for Danish architecture :3

Yes, When using a new art program, you can only go uphill! Unless you forget how to draw, but that takes a massive effort Ā : pĀ

Hueh it's def better than PS, which is good but also frustrating bc I have a strong loyalty towards that program after having used it for years xD
But I like that I can program all the shortcuts to be what I'm used to so the switch wasn't too difficult

That's good! I tired switching from GIMP to FireAlpaca and sweet stars above it did not work out well. I just use gimp now, but one program is good enough for me.Ā

And I haven't heard of GIMP :0 My friend bought me CSP for my birthday so I "would no longer have an excuse not to switch." I downloaded open toonz too, so I kind of want to learn to animate in that rather than PS as well, but that looks like it's gonna be harder to figure out

GIMP is a really cool photomanipulation program (you can use it for art too ;v; )Ā
You should go look at it, It's free and there are a bunch of brushes and stuff you can download for it too. My friend All-The-Feels-Here and me both use it.Ā
