These are cool, any chance we could see a walk cycle or animated hands? Hands are the worst. Feet also suck if you're doing perspective stuff.

Hey Sketch! Being that I've been practicing 3D animation for a few years now, it's great to see how well you've progressed in just a few months (I assume you've only recently started). I'd give you advice, but I'm not sure what I'd share would translate very well into 2D. >w<

Months? This was my second attempt.
I've been working with 3d animation since I was a kid, btw (I was lucky)

I stand corrected then. That impresses me even more then. ^_^
Although, since you already know how to capture emotion and depth in your drawings, it's really just applying that to animation. I mean, obviously, but...

Animating is quite different from just drawing, and it looks stiff indeedΒ .

It looks perhaps like the simplest thing in this animation, but I love the little 'throw and catch" at the beginning. Looks pretty natural! ^_^
Good to see you enjoying yourself with animation!Β
On a sidenote: What program do you use for animating?

Just Photoshop? Okay, I'm surprised at that! Well, great work!

The curse is back? DX Very well done though. Really, if you're getting into some animation I can't wait to see what comes out of this.
There is one thing I'd love to see animated from you in terms of DQ. Cornelia (Am I getting this right...blanking at the moment) mocking Loraile.

More like, it was never dispelled. If there's something I'd love to animate, that would be something from the first arc of Diaper Quest.

Ah true! Where is all started. That'd be quite a big project. It'd be amazing to see, but I know that's a huge task.

I've always had this thing in mind... I want to animate an opening sequence as if diaper quest was a real anime. I've chosen the music years ago, most of the scenes are already set. I'd simply need a lot more experience in animating and a ton of motivation. It doesn't really have a purpose, I just wish I could pull that off.

That sounds really cool and something I could see happening. It would definitely be a smaller project than the entire series. I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility. It would take a lot of work and time, but eh, little by little you never know what could happen.

Living the weeaboo dream. Her throw at the end is a little stiff, but it's insanely impressive to see you animating at all. You really are one of the best artists in this niche when you put your mind to it.

Yeah it's a shame I wasn't able to move the body better but hey, there is a first time for everything. Why is it impressive to see me animate, if I may ask?

Nazoc In reply to SketchMan-DL [2016-11-06 02:06:55 +0000 UTC]
Because animation is hard and most artists don't do it. Especially diaper artists. I know hundreds of artists from counties as varied as Japan, Finland, Russia, the US, Brazil, and so on, but I can count the amount who are animators on like...both of my hands.
