Description
this is something I did for class. I basiclly painted as fast as I could possibly paint with gouache. I'm like 60 percent happy with it considering I;m getting back into paint.Related content

Whoa....I know this was submitted a while ago, but it's sweet! Dark shadows, sharp contrasts, and demonic, almost soulless-looking eyes. Good muscle structure too--you're very talented, I'd like to keep an eye on your art.

You're 60% happy with this but I'm 100% blown away by this. I love how it looks like a page straight from a comic book. You have such a versatile style, from these intense muscular guys to soft portraits. You're really great.

I like how you've used the lighting to make him menacing, its surprising what black and white can do.

The lighting in this is cool I love how it hides enough to still allow for the mystery factor but illuminates enough areas to make it creepy and add that thrill to it

I love the light where the wings disappear behind the demon guy's back. It helps put focus on the guy and the light source behind him, and it's downright cool
The values of light and dark are masterfully done. You really pulled off the 3D effect on this one (well, you're brilliant with 3D in ALL of your work 
Lastly, He's got a great pose, and I love the glowing eyes
okay, after all that feedback, I have to say that he reminds me of the demon in Disney's Fantasia in the scene "Night on Bald Mountain." I think both the demon on Bald Mountain and your guy are totally wicked!
