portrait of my mother, I tried a million ways of taking the pic, thats the best it came out, it looks unfinished because of the different kinds of pencils, but in real life, its all the same value.but for now it looks like a work in progress, xD

Really like the painterly quality you got on this portrait. Reminds me of your gouache technique on your paintings....this is because very few artists can carry over their technique from one media to a very different media. Well done

Most excellent sketch. Anyone with technical skill can render a portrait, but it takes real talent to render a personality. Not very many artists can do what you make look effortless.
