Description
Very early phase of a 2 capacity Melange harvester Carryall. It has many ornithopter style wings and directional jets. I thought of it as a traveling base that would be met by refueling ships so that it could remain away from a main Arrakis port for weeks at a time. Crew cabin detail, grab arms, ornithopter landing pads and extra gizmos all need more work.Related content

Thanks very much! but when I find some time I am going to re-re design the harvester (at least the vacuum arms) and redesign the carryall a lot! The books suggest the maximum time from touchdown to worm attack is 20 minutes so the drop, vacuum and pick up have to be fast! I'm way nerdly picky and need the thing to work real world style! ornithopter cool. i'm using Carrara 4 Pro which is very out of date, and i only know how to make a spline or lathe object, haven't even made a polygon yet
