A lot of horses in this gallery, not a lot of horse-racing.I'm not even sure if this belongs in the 'Animals' section...
Um, lets see, I watched 'Seabiscuit' a year ago, got inspired, got lazy.
Started drawing this piece a month ago, got lazy and never finished.
So I decided to quickly put it all together for the sake of my conscience.
Its not as good as it was supposed to be, but it'll do.

hey, this is Funny Cide right? Its a great drawing. I love the action in it. The background makes it seem very calm, very mellow. And Derby day is usually a lot more rowdy than that. So, I like that you made it more relaxed looking. Funny Cide looks really great. I like the tree in the background too. *favs*

Your attention to detail always amazes me...I really think the 2 birds (seagulls?) in the background almost manage to balance out the upper right half of the piece. Great detail once again

this is beautiful, but in my opinion i think that the clouds don't really mixed in with the drawing..
