Don't wanna sound like I'm comparing, but with the shape of the roots, I kinda end up reminding Cagney Carnation from Cuphead. Kinda, not entirely.
Anyway, compared with the original drawing, this one has more precise shadowing, as well as more dynamism in some way. I love the colors for this one.

I haven't really seen Cagney much, even though people suggest I draw him or if I love him cuz he's a flower. The root thing started because my OC flower uses her roots to move, and I've been inspired by a few Japanese artists who draw his roots free flowing when out of the ground. That's where it comes from~
