He didn’t know why he’d been so… somber lately.
He especially felt awful when he realized that he felt that way around his daughter.
It had taken a few sessions of trying to sort out this weird emotion, but he’d come to realize that it wasn’t anything April did. He still loved her dearly, just as much as he did when she was just babbling. It was something he missed. How small she was, how soft. But at the same time he loved watching her grow up and become a person with a personality.
It was weird, he didn’t know what to think. He wanted something, but he didn’t know what.
It wasn’t until he’d happened to sit in on a conversation between his older sisters, hearing Mocha talking softly to her son, or hearing Kia joke about ‘what if she and Shay had an egg one day’ that it finally clicked in his brain what was going on.
Oh.
He wanted another baby.
