"Oh, I'm sorry, are you so attention deficit that you didn't realize I was talking to you?" Verdigris purrs as he smirks at him, "I suppose the grass sticking out of your face would impair your hearing, apologies for not taking it into consideration."

"Listen you-"

"And if we're really going to talk about wynglings acting like babies, shall we look at yourself? You act as if you've just risen from your egg, grabbed the first piece of edgy cloth you could find, and are now walking around drooling as you learn what feet are."

"If you must insist on picking on wynglings who are incapable of defending themselves, and can't wrap your tiny, undeveloped brain around the concept of differing personalities and genders, than I'll introduce you to the idea of walking your green, shriveled butt back to the rotting salad from which you came."

Flint stammers before swiping Verdigris across the face and running off, grumbling to himself. Verdi reaches up and touches his face, chuckling.

"Worth it."

Verdi might actually get along with his siblings now, imagine that.
