Wow this can definitely be taken in 2 ways and both are epic. I see it as he ate the bird and kept the wings and made the mask so that he can fly with the birds in order to hunt them easier XD LOL

This is reminiscent of some character whose hero has gone before them, done many great things, flown, and then died. All you can really do is try on their old outfits, sit at their old places, hoping some bit of them will still linger, hoping to discover the secret of flight.

I love all the different ways you can take this image - like, did the fox merely want to make friends with the birds, but in the end, couldn't disguise what he truly was? Pieces like this that can mean so many different things are just so intriguing...
This might sound like a random question and could just be a major coincidence but...does this have any connection to the music video for Boy by Joey? It's one of my favorite music videos and I couldn't help but connect the two.
